Spotlight shines on Hamilton firm

Hamilton-based economic development firm Millier Dickinson Blais has earned a spot among PROFIT magazine‘s HOT 50. The 11th annual listing of Canada’s “emerging growth companies,” which was published in PROFIT’s October issue (and online at PROFITguide.com), ranks young firms by two-year revenue growth.

Established in 2007 with offices also in Toronto and Harrowsmith (just north of Kingston), Millier Dickinson Blais has worked with clients ranging from small rural communities to some of the biggest cities in Canada, including Hamilton itself, for which it released an economic development strategy in July. The report was built on the theme “Hamilton Is...” and shifts the city’s efforts from emphasizing what Hamilton might become, to focusing on the human, intellectual and infrastructure assets the community already offers to investors today.
